Outdoor Restaurant Seating uses only European Beech for our wood chairs and barstools. European Beech is much more durable than the rubberwood or Chinese Oak that are commonly what “hard wood” refers to. Our wood seats are also solid beech, not a weak veneer.
Our aluminum and outdoor barstools are all resistant to Ultraviolet rays as well.
A successful restaurant owner who was interested in purchasing some aluminum stools once told us that in his experience, it was not the chairs themselves that ended up breaking down from long-term use, but the nuts and bolts that hold it together. Aluminum lasts forever, but the cheap metal that screws it together rusts easily.
He asked us, with a cynical tone, if we happened to have stainless steel screws instead of a run-of-the mill steel knock-off. We replied that all our hard-ware is made of true stainless steel, and we managed to impress a battle-hardened businessman used to being disappointed by furniture dealers who cut corners in their construction.
