How to clean a synthetic teak table top, chair, barstool and furniture for restaurants

Synthetic teak is a plastic so routine cleaning is necessary. It is also nonporous so stains can be removed. Here are some best practices:
1. Wipe or scrub
The surface is textured so you will need to scrub to remove stains. Use a cloth, sponge or soft textured pad to work the stain out.
2. Use soap and water
When removing stains use soap and water in lieu of harsh chemicals is always preferred to rid the surface of food, grease and other dirt.
3. Steam cleaning
For heavy duty cleaning steam cleaning the top can remove the stain.
4. Power wash
For heavy stains a small household power-washer (less than 1500 psi) works well to lift stains and debris from the textured surface. Be careful when spraying and dry with a soft cloth when finished.
