Its unique polarity means optimal adhesion of varnishes and oils. It’s even anti-static. Resysta® is made with the perfect blend of rice husk cellulose and vinyl polymer. Which makes it workable like wood, but non-hygroscopic (water can’t penetrate). And without water penetration, there’s no swelling or contracting and thus no cracking or peeling of your varnish or stain. Ever. While it looks just like wood, Resysta® has no lignin. Lignin helps trees grow and gives substance to their cells. When they’re alive. But once they’re dead, the lignin is what causes the yellowing of paper and the gray fading of wood.
