What a chair looks like and how it fits your décor is important.  But what it looks like and how much it costs are not the only consideration when choosing a chair or bar stool.

The most important aspect of a chair for your restaurant is comfort, right? Maybe, maybe not….

If your establishment is a white tablecloth operation where patrons typically spend an hour plus, a nice, large comfortable chair is required. But if it is a bistro, casual or quick serve establishment, a smaller, “30 minute sit” may be more what you need.

Typically, what makes a chair comfortable is not how much padding the seat might have, but rather how large it is.  The more you can move in a chair, the more comfortable it is. The size of your seat can determine how long a patron can comfortably stay.
